This past week I have been hand painting these chinese flying lanterns with different messages. At first, I thought that i wanted to have one letter on each of the lanterns, and try to spell out one word. I realized that that would be too hard to control. Also, I couldn't be confined to just one word- what to choose?
Instead, I thought of what I would like to find on a lantern if it drifted down across my path. Probably something funny, or sweet, or inspirational. So, I gathered most of the knowledge I've gained in my life so far, and started painting.

You are NOT a robot. It's okay to
make mistakes.
It will never be this moment ever again.
Unless, that is you believe that time travel is a
reasonable option for you.
Sit back and see where the wind takes you.
Surprises are some of the best things in life.
And furthermore, the unexpected may be
more spectacular than anything you could
have ever imagined.
